30.06.-13.07.2024Overnight Road Closure – A393 Lanner 30 June to 13 July 2024

There will be overnight closures from 1900 on weekday nights between the 30 June and the 13 June on the A393 through Lanner.  During the closure buses will operate under diversion.

Go-Cornwall Service 40: Will not serve Sandy Lane or Lanner diverting via St Day Road into Redruth.

First Buses Service U2:  Will operate under diversion and not serve Laner.  Please confirm diversion details with the operator.

30.06.-15.07.2024LONDON TRAMS: Unite the Union members are due to strike from 2000 Sunday 30 June until Monday 8 July and again from Thursday 11 July until Monday 15 July impacting London Trams services. Customers are encouraged to check before they travel as a reduced service will operate on most strike days. On strike days, it is expected that no services will operate before 0700 and after 1800 each day, and between 0700 and 1800 each day, there will be no service between Reeves Corner and East Croydon. Planned engineering work on Saturday 6 July and Sunday 7 July will mean, in addition, no London Trams services will operate east of East Croydon
30.06.-07.07.2024OLD OAK COMMON LANE, NW10: On Sunday 07 July from 08:00 until 16:00, ROUTE 228 is on diversion via Wood Lane, Scrubs Lane, Harrow Road, Harlesden High Street and Acton Lane due to resurfacing works taking place. Buses towards Central Middlesex Hospital will not serve stops from 'The Fairway' (M) to 'Acton Lane' (R) and buses towards Maida Hill will not serve stops from 'Harlesden Jubilee Clock' (W) to 'Mandela Close' LQ).

30.06.-07.07.2024BELVUE ROAD, NORTHOLT: Route E10 is on diversion between Eastcote Lane/Islip Manor Park and Ferrymead Avenue via Church Road and Ruislip Road due to roadworks. Buses towards Ealing Broadway are missing stops from Moat Farm Road to Kensington Road/Ruislip Road. Buses towards Northolt are missing stops from Kensington Road/Ruislip Road to Moat Farm Road. The Hail and Ride section on Belvue Road and Rowdell Road are not served.
29.06.-07.07.2024FAGGS ROAD: Routes 90 285 and 490 are on diversion between Hatton Cross Station and Faggs Road/Central Way via Great South West Road and The Causeway due to roadworks. Buses are not serving the stops Great South West Road (Stop H only) and Hatton Green.
29.06.-04.07.2024LARDEN ROAD: Route 272 is on diversion between Old Oak Road and Turnham Green, Bath Road via Askew Road, Goldhawk Road and Stamford Brook Road due to a burst water main. Buses are not serving the stops First Avenue, Second Avenue, Third Avenue and Acton Vale/Bromyard Avenue. The Hail and Ride section on Larden Road is not served.

Due to utility works the road between Penmarth and Carnkie will be closed between the 27 June and 11 August.  During the closure period Go-Cornwall service 36 to Helston School will operate under diversion via the main road and will be unable to serve Penmarth.  Students are advised to catch the bus at the Gravel Pits or Crellow Lane.

Please note the details of an immediate bus stop suspension on Townhill Way in Chartwell Green for utility works.  The stop is called: Harbourne Gardens

24.06.-05.07.2024B*10 DIVERSION Peartree AvenueMonday 24th June 2024 Peartree Avenue will be closed between Peartree Road and Sholing Road. These emergency works are due to last for up to 2 weeks. Diversion is in both directions from City towards Bitterne:- service will follow the same route as B*13 in both directions between Woolston & Bitterne via Radstock Road, Bishops Road, Sholing Road and Spring Road.

Poughill Road will be closed between the 24 June and the 5 July.  During the closure period Go-Cornwall services 128, 217 and 218 will not serve West Fairholme Road towards Cedar Grove.  Service 128 will divert via Ocean View Road.  Services 217 and 218 will divert via Golf House Road and Ocean View Road.     

24.06.-05.07.2024LISSON GROVE, NW8: From Monday 24 June to Friday 5 July between 09:00-17:00, routes 139 189 are on diversion one way northbound due to Thames Water works. Buses towards Golders Green / Brent Cross will not serve stops 'Rossmore Road/London Business School'(LM) to 'St Johns Wood Road/Lords Cricket Grd'(LS). Please allow extra time for your journey.

24.06.-12.07.2024Road Closure – B3277 Chiverton 24 June to 12 July 2024

The B3277 at Chiverton will be closed between the 24 June and the 12 July.  During the closure period Go-Cornwall service 88 will be unable to serve Blackwater diverting via the A30.  First Buses services U1A and U1E will, in both directions, operate under diversion via Blackwater and the A30 which will cause delays to the service.  Hopleys service 304 will also operate under diversion which could cause delays.  

24.06.-13.07.2024B*8 & 9 DIVERSION Between the A326 Bypass and Jacobs Gutter LaneFrom Monday 24th June to 12 July 2024 between 1900-0600 weekdays only A326 will be closed between Rushington Roundabout and Jacobs Gutter Lane. 09.05.-30.07.2024Road Closure – Nine Maidens to Penmarth 7 May to 30 July 2024

The road between Nine Maidens and Penmarth is currently closed.  OTS service 42 is diverting between Goonlaze and Nine Maidens.  From Falmouth at Goonlaze buses are operating to Wheal Buller, then via the B3297 to Four Lanes and Nine Maidens where the bus turns to rejoin the normal route to Four Lanes. Towards Truro the reverse is operating.  During the closure buses are unable to serve Penmarth.

Service 51: from Thursday 14th March until late July 2024 – works for Wessex Water between North Curry and Stoke Road.

Owing to works being undertaken by Wessex Water from Thursday 14th March until late July 2024, there is disruption to Service 51.
Phase 1 which starts on Thursday 14th March, and lasts until Friday 3rd May, will see the closure of Stoke Road between its junction with the Curload turn and the junction with Huntham Lane.
The bus will not be able to serve the section of the route that is closed and the bus will follow a diversion via Huntham Lane in both directions on all journeys, Monday to Saturday, throughout Phase 1.
Phase 2 and Phase 3 information will follow, however we have been advised by Wessex Water that the planned requirement for an additional bus will no longer be required as Huntham Lane remains open throughout all three phases of the works. The bank of three escalators at the front end of the eastbound/rear end of the westbound platforms will be out of service while they are replaced. Please use alternative escalators at the other end of the platforms to exit and interchange
10.09.2023-29.12.2024Waterloo & City line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 00:30 only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on public/bank holidays.
30.08.2023-31.10.2024Botley Road Rail Bridge ClosureNetwork Rail are working towards replacing the Botley Road rail overbridge. As a consequence the Botley Road in Oxford City Centre is closed to all vehiclular traffic, initially for 6 months but recently extended until the end of October 2024. A few bus services will divert via the Abingdon Road and the A34 but most services will be truncated.  The terminus on the eastern side of the bridge will be the Rail Station or Frideswide Square, the terminus on the western side will be Osney Island.  For people less-abled to make the 350 metre walk between these stops a free shuttle bus will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, hourly between 10 AM and 2 PM. Pick-up and set-down points are the West Oxford Community Centre, Seacourt Bridge (both on Botley Road) and Frideswide Square. Called the Botley Road Flyer it will be operated by Comet.
30.08.2023-31.10.2024Botley Road Rail Bridge (truncation)While the Botley Road is closed due to Network Rail bridge works, Stagecoach service S1 will divert between Eynsham and Oxford via the A40 and Woodstock Road.  While this is the case a shuttle service E1 will serve Eynsham to Oxford (Osney Island) via Farmoor and Botley. Services S6 and S9 will use the Osney Island stops as their terminus. This closure has been extended until October 2024.

There will be separate branches (East/West) of this service operating trhought the closure period. Through ticketing is available.  Pedestrians will be able to access the route through the bridge throughout the closure period.  This arrangement has been extended until October 2024.

26.06.2023-30.09.2024KENTISH TOWN UNDERGROUND STATION: The station will closed until late Summer to enable vital work to be carried out to replace the escalators. Kentish Town Thameslink station will remain open for customers to use while the escalator replacement works are taking place. Nearby Tufnell Park Tube station is accessible by using the extensive local bus network or from Kentish Town station on foot (11 minutes). There is no major work planned on these alternative routes during the closure of the Tube station.
22.06.2023-29.09.2024HACKNEY DOWNS STATION: Step-free access to platform 1 (served by Chingford to Liverpool Street and southbound Greater Anglia trains via Tottenham Hale) is available but only via the interchange and lift link to/from Hackney Central station. Please enter and exit via this route. Step-free access is not available to/from other platforms or to/from the main entrance at Hackney Downs.
09.05.2023-01.12.2024HOLLOWAY ROAD STATION: From Tuesday 9 May until November 2024: Reduced lift service at Holloway Road until mid-July, queuing likely during peaks. Please consider using Arsenal or Caledonian Road stations. During Emirates Stadium events, Holloway Road will be closed for two hours before the start of the event and will open 15 minutes after the start of the event. During return traffic the station will be closed 15 minutes before the end of the event and will be kept closed for 90 minutes after the event.
