A few bus services will divert via the Abingdon Road and the A34 but most services will be truncated. The terminus on the eastern side of the bridge will be the Rail Station or Frideswide Square, the terminus on the western side will be Osney Island. For people less-abled to make the 350 metre walk between these stops a free shuttle bus will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, hourly between 10 AM and 2 PM. Pick-up and set-down points are the West Oxford Community Centre, Seacourt Bridge (both on Botley Road) and Frideswide Square. Called the Botley Road Flyer it will be operated by Comet. |
